Kevin Detroy graduated summa cum laude and second in his class from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law in May 2008 and successfully sat for the Ohio bar in July.  He joined Morgan Verkamp, LLC after a stint as a Law Clerk in the United States Attorney’s Office in Cincinnati.  Mr. Detroy graduated from the University of Michigan in 2001 with a degree in Economics and spent several years working in the health-insurance industry before beginning law school.  At Chase, where he was on the Dean’s List every semester, Mr. Detroy was both Associate Editor of the Law Review and a Moot Court Board member and competition winner.  He earned the highest grades in a number of law classes and interned with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.  While at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Mr. Detroy made substantial contributions to an enormous criminal prosecution which resulted in several convictions.
