Ian Doig joined Morgan Verkamp as a False Claims Act Litigation Fellow after graduating from Indiana University in 2014. He passed the Ohio Bar in 2014. He previously worked for two years the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit in the Office of the Indiana Attorney General, as part of a team which worked to identify fraudulent healthcare schemes and recovered millions of dollars in state and federal funds. Mr. Doig’s current work litigating Morgan Verkamp’s False Claims Act cases centers around e-discovery and “big data” analysis.
While in law school, Mr. Doig served as the Director and co-founder of the LGBT Legal Project, a group that provides pro bono legal services to LGBT individuals and organizations throughout Indiana. He also interned in New Delhi, India, where his work focused on capital market transactions and international law.
Mr. Doig is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio and the Southern District of Ohio.
